Military, Government, Security Wanted (Central, NJ) 

The following position, located in central NJ, is with a System Integrator providing end-to-end, turnkey solutions for the Defense and Homeland Security markets. Their complete security installations include Sensors, Standalone Radar Systems, Emergency Response Systems, Command & Control, Communications, Access Control and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD). The company leverages decades of experience in defense and security through strategic partnerships with leading defense contractors and select vendors identified as leaders in their respective fields of expertise. 

General Position Summary:

Improve your tan, visit exotic locations, and make a difference in the world!  We need sharp hard working people to manage field integration and deployment support for a homeland security company.  Relevant skills include planning camera field of view, line of site, mounting scheme, power and communication connections.  Experience with cameras, video communications, and camera control communication required. Must be able to plan the integration to local utilities (i.e. power and telecom).  Requires a high level of organization and ability to prepare complete and accurate documentation. 

Major Responsibilities & Tasks:

·          Hands-on involvement in all aspects of field activities including installation, configuration, training and troubleshooting; developing field test and customer acceptance test plans, supporting the execution of field tests.  Develop and execute acceptance test plans with the customer.

·          In addition, the individual will support the Integration & Test team when not in the field. In this role, the responsibilities include developing test cases and executing tests during System Integration and Test.

·          Support the preparation of schedules, cost estimating, and budgets.

·          Strong background in system integration and deployment, required.

·          Must possess strong leadership qualities and excellent verbal and written communications.

·          Must be able to work with client partners and local authorities during the deployment activities. 

Job Specifications: 

Knowledge:

·          Bachelor’s degree – engineering discipline preferred - plus three years experience installing video surveillance equipment and associated endpoint equipment.

·          IEEE 829, ISO 9001 desired 

Experience:

·          Experience managing small teams desired.

·          Must be physically able to lift over 50 lbs

·          Must have experience using computers with Microsoft Windows.

·          Desired knowledge of basic electronics components

·          Desired knowledge of CCTV, VMD and Radar systems.

Residency Requirements:

·          Must be a US Citizen

·          A valid US Passport is required

Working Conditions:

·          Must be willing and able to travel domestically or internationally (75 %+) to support customer activities.  Work in extreme environmental conditions (such as desert sun, wind, etc.) is probable.

Additional Job Information:

·          DoD/DHS experience a plus

·          Security Clearance or SIDA desired
