Responsibilities Of Drafting
Designer
- Produce
schematics/drawings utilizing Inventor 3-D and AutoCAD
Mechanical
- Design
sheet metal parts for low volume consideration and other
drafting tasks as needed to support design and sold orders.
- Provide
technical support to internal department and customers.
Requirements For Drafting Designer
- Must be
proficient in Inventor 3-D
- Experience
in drawing schematics in AutoCAD

Understanding of how metal parts are formed and punched
- Finishing
techniques such as coatings, welding of metal and the use of
aluminum and steel
- Effective
written and verbal inter-personal communication skills
- 4-year
degree or 2-year degree plus 3-5 years experience
