Manager - International
Military,
Government, Security Wanted (Central, NJ)
The
following position, located in central NJ, is with a System
Integrator providing end-to-end, turnkey solutions for the
Defense and Homeland Security markets. Their complete security
installations include Sensors, Standalone Radar Systems,
Emergency Response Systems, Command & Control, Communications,
Access Control and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD). The company
leverages decades of experience in defense and security through
strategic partnerships with leading defense contractors and
select vendors identified as leaders in their respective fields
of expertise.
General
Position Summary:
-
Manage
company activities in area which includes between 2-3 sites.
The manager will manage 2-3 site managers with company sub
contractors and vendors and their main activity is to run
these sites including: Civil Works Electrician,
communication systems and security infrastructures.

The
manager will support the site manager with all the logistic
issue, with all the security pass.
-
The
manager will have in his team a local Engineer to support
all security pass and a logistic manager to manage all the
logistic in this area.

The
manager will work with Company infrastructure manager and
with company technical manager which will be in charge on
these sites
Major
Responsibilities & Tasks:
-
To
execute company infrastructures work at the sites which are
at their area with company subcontractors according to the
plans, specs, table’s local codes and local regulations.
-
Responsible for the budget for the sites which are in their
area
-
Responsible for the safety and HSE plan for the sites which
are in their area.
-
Build a
time schedule to each site in their area, follow the time
schedule of the works including: studies production
schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for
completion of job assignment.

Analyzes
and resolves work problems at sites and assist site manager
in solving work problems.
-
Support
the site manager with the logistic, coordinate and balance
the equipment for each site and between the sites.

Support
the site manager with their sub contractors, coordinate and
balance the sub contractors power man & equipment for each
site and between the sites.
-
Responsible for the QA for the sites which are in their
area
-
Work
with the end user and the customer.
-
Be part
of the infrastructure management. Support infrastructure
manager to find sub contractors & vendors, to improve
production methods, procedure.

Report
to: Company infrastructure manager and to Technical manager
of these sites.

Knowledge:
Experience:

Knowledge of all office systems (including P.M).

Knowledge of budget manages and control it.

Team
Leader, In depended and individual abilities, work under
pressure

Ability
to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations.

Ability
to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written,
oral, diagram, or schedule form.

DoD/DHS
experience a plus
-
Security
Clearance or SIDA desired

Requirements:
Must be
willing and able to travel domestically or internationally (100%) to support customer activities. Extreme environmental
conditions such as working in sun and heat, etc.) are probable.

Environment:
While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently
exposed to high, precarious places; and outside weather
conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or
humid conditions, extreme heat. The noise level in the work
environment is usually and extreme loud.
